Girls my age that have the same if not better opportunities than me and take advantage of it are plain stupid. This may be pretty obvious but I choose my boyfriend as my best friend. I understand all his hardships and his values and they make him a wonderful hard working person. (Who just so happens to be the love of my life, Yay bonus!) I understand life is tough and I have just as much daddy issues as the next girl but its how you choose your weaknesses to make you a stronger better person. My old friends had great personalities and were fun to be with and I love them dearly; but as I grew they just stayed the same and didn’t really care to better themselves. I’m not saying I’m the greatest example of perfect (i.e. i’m broke, uneducated, job-less) but I put effort into being better. I mean seriously getting pregnant and not having at least a high school diploma/ged? Thats not really something I would want. I honestly wish I was still their friend so I could at least give them support and love. Maybe it takes a rude awakening for someone to change their ways or just simply growing up. I know this makes me some what “alone” now and I’m okay with that. I rather have a friend that will support herself and make herself happy. There is much more to this and who knows they may be doing well for themselves and I just haven’t been updated on my knowledge. In conclusion I am happy and love being alone but sure do hope you are doing okay old friends.
